Congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s Fortune Tour Final and Dragon Duel Finals! Over 200 players were in attendance at the University of Manchester but there could only be one winner!
Luke Lennard is this year’s champion, defeating Jamie Stafford. Luke won his very own copy of the Shonen Jump Prize Card ‘Crush Card Virus’ whilst Jamie Stafford, taking part in his 3rd final, received an iPod touch – not too shabby!
In the Under 13’s event, the Dragon Duel Final, Stephen Rodgers took Lightsworn to the top against Peter Ward’s Dark Armed Dragon deck – congratulations and perhaps we’ll see these players on the final table again at the National Championships in a few years?
In the Irish events, Barry Moran won out against veteran player James Kinsella, with Seamus Allen taking the title of the first ever Dragon Duel champion – congratulations Seamus!
Many thanks goes out to the parents who gave up their time and efforts to help players, young and old, attend the event – it helped make the event a huge success!
