The 2009 Yu-Gi-Oh! UK National Championships will be taking place at the end of April 2009! Even with the date and location yet to be confirmed, duelists up and down the country are already excited at the prospect of trying their hand at becoming the next UK champion!
The UK National Championship Qualifier structure will be as follows:
• Run from the 1st of January to the 12th of April
• Local Qualifiers will qualify the winner for the UK Yu-Gi-Oh! National Championship
• Grand Qualifiers will qualify the top 8 finishers for the UK Yu-Gi-Oh! National Championship
Prizes for the National Championship will follow this structure, giving even more invites to the European Championships, and better prizes than ever before!
• 1st: Laptop, trophy, Shonen Jump prize card, playmat, commemorative pen, invitation to the European Championship
• 2nd: Nintendo Wii, trophy, playmat, commemorative pen, invitation to Continental Championship
• 3rd-4th: iPod Nano 8Gb, trophy, playmat, commemorative pen, invitation to Continental Championship
• 5th-8th: iPod Shuffle 4Gb, playmat, commemorative pen, invitation to Continental Championship
• 9th-16th: iPod Shuffle 1Gb, playmat, commemorative pen, invitation to Continental Championship
• 17th-32nd: Commemorative pen, Invitation to Continental Championship
• 33rd-64th: Commemorative Pen
