Yu-Gi-Oh! European Championships - 21st & 22nd June!

The European Championships are coming up fast! Check out the details below, and good luck to those who've qualified and are attending!

Invitation Only:
- Top 16 Ranked players in the UK
- Top 8 from the 2008 UK National Championships
- Top 150 Ranked Players in Europe

Prizes:
- Winner – Trophy & Dell XPS Gaming Laptop
- 2nd Place – Trophy & Dell XPS Gaming Laptop
- 3rd & 4th Place – Trophy & I-pod Touch
- 5th & 8th - Nintendo Wii Sports
- 9th -16th - Puma bag

Registration will be 7am-9:30am, with player briefing 9:30am-10am. Estimated end of day will be 6pm.

Saturday


7am Trial of the Sangaenma
Format: Advanced, Swiss round tournament with a top 8 knock out. 300-400 players.
Main prizes include Laptop, iPod Touch, DVD Players, iPod Shuffle, champion packs and current set boosters.


7:30am – 8pm King of Games
Format: Mixed. 8 & 16 player knock out events.
Prizes are champion packs and current set boosters.


12pm Highlander
Format: Special constructed no more than 1 of any given card. Swiss round tournament with a top 8 knock out.100 players.
Main prizes iPod Touch and current set boosters.

2pm 10x4
Format: Special constructed 10 effect monsters, 10 traps, 10 spells, and 10 normal monsters. If fusions are used there must be 10 in the fusion deck. Swiss round tournament with a top 8 knock out. 64 players.
Main prizes iPod Touch and current set boosters.

4pm History Tournament
Format: Traditional, Swiss round tournament with a top 8 knock out. 64 players.
Main prizes iPod Touch and current set boosters.


Sunday

8:30am – 5pm King of Games 8 & 16 player knock out events.
Prizes are champion packs and current set boosters.

9am Under 13 Challenge Tournament
Restricted to 12 and under players. Advanced Format. Swiss round tournament with a top 8 knock out. 100 players.
Main prizes include iPod Shuffles for top 4, champion packs and current set boosters.

9am Parents Cup Tournament
Restricted to a parent with a child playing in the Under 13 Challenge or other event. Advanced Format. Swiss round tournament with a top 8 knock out. 50 players.
Main prizes include Voucher for dinner at a restaurant, champion packs and current set boosters.

12pm Pharaoh Puzzle
Format: Special limited format, winner takes all sealed deck. When you lose you give the sealed cards to your opponents. Knock out tournament. 48 players maximum.
Main prize all the cards won during the matches.


2pm Win an iPod
Format: Advanced, Swiss round tournament with a top 8 knock out. 64 players.
Main prizes iPod Touch, champion packs and current set boosters.
