World of Warcraft Realm Qualifiers Season 5

Realm Qualifier tournaments will qualify players for their Realm Championship. Each event will offer players the chance to earn a spot in the Realm Championship for the Realm in which they qualified. In addition to the main event, each Realm Qualifier will host Booster Draft Challenges as often as there are enough people to run a Draft!

As with Season 4, players will qualify based on Realm points rather than placing in top 4 of a Realm Qualifier. All players earn points based on their performance in the Realm Qualifier. A player will need to earn 10 points total throughout the season in a specific Realm in order to qualify for that Realm’s Championship. The point breakdown is as follows:

• 1st – 10 points
• 2nd – 10 points
• 3rd-4th – 6 points
• 5th-8th - 4 points
• 9th+ - 2 points

Format:

From November 28 to January 24, the events will be Scourgewar Sealed format. From January 30 to March 14, the events will be Constructed format. For more information about legality of cards for these formats, please see the World of Warcraft TCG Policy.*

The tournament will have Swiss rounds and playoffs based on the number of players in the tournament, according to UDE Tournament Policy. All matches are best two-of-three. Players may only play in the Realm Championship event in the Realm that they earned the correct number of Realm points in.

Prizes

Prizes are subject to change. In addition to Booster Packs that will be awarded according to finish, top finished will also receive the following:

• Winner: Extended Art Hesriana

• Top 4: Extended Art Iravar

• Top 4: Series 2 Mage Class Deckbox
• Participation: The first 32 competitors to sign up will receive an Extended Art Dark Archon Farrum

Season 5 Booster Draft Challenge

At every Realm Qualifier event, Booster Draft Challenges will also be going on for the duration of the event. When eight players sign up for a Draft, the event will begin. New tournaments will be happening throughout the day, as often as there are enough players to run one.
Players will Draft using three packs of Scourgewar** after which they will play three rounds of single elimination, using best two-of-three matches.

• Top 2: Hatchet Totem Extended Art card, Booster Packs

Brand New WoW Battlegrounds - Ongoing

The World of Warcraft TCG Battlegrounds program is the best way to find a game at the local level. Every month players will compete to become their store’s Battleground Master, seeking Extended Art and Token riches and the ultimate goal of the Battleground Master’s exclusive playmat!

Battlegrounds are the first step in participating in World of Warcraft TCG Organized Play. It's a great way to find a game and participate in your local gaming community. Every week, top finishers will receive exclusive Extended Art Cards that they can't find anywhere else, with the winner also walking away with a new Series 2 Paladin deck box! Even if you aren't lucky enough to walk away with first or second place, everyone walks away with at least one exclusive Extended Art Card.

If you thought that was all that is up for grabs, you’re in for a great treat! Starting right now, every player will be able to compete for the title of Battleground Master, completing achievements in the hunt to be the player to accomplish a Feat of Strength like no other! Is your Troll only deck your pride and joy? Well winning with it now will help you earn achievement points en-route to the incredible Battleground Master playmat exclusive to the player that has earned the most achievement points each month. Defeat your opponent only with abilities or with a deck containing cards from only a single set amongst other achievements, or bring along your friends for more achievement points than you can shake a stick at to win this fabulous new playmat.

Players earn achievements by completing the tasks that are listed on the Player Achievement card. Each achievement can be completely only once per kit cycle, unless noted otherwise. The Player Achievement cards are kept at the store. Each time players come into the store, they retrieve the card from the store and then can get to earning achievement points. The points are tallied and kept on the Point Tracking poster. Players are able to see where they stack up against other players at their local store. A Battlegrounds Kit cycle lasts for four weeks. At the end of the four weeks, a Battleground Master is crowned and the following week a new kit cycle starts. Each kit has new achievements. Achievements can be earned at any time two players would like to play, they are not limited to only being earned during Battlegrounds tournaments.

With the new Battleground format comes a new way to earn Badges of Justice! For every 200 achievement points you earn in-store, you’ll receive a Badge of Justice and one of the new Tokens now available from your own store.
In addition to the other great prizes that players can earn, Badges of Justice will be given out for every 200 achievement points earned, in addition to the new token card! Save up the badges and redeem them for one of the four exclusive cards below, and stay tuned for 4 new cards will be released with each new set!
• A Badge of Justice may be used in place of a Primal Nether for purposes of the Crafting Redemption Program.
• Three Badges of Justice can be redeemed for one of the promo cards below.

World of Warcraft TCG Arena Tournaments – Under Way Now!

Step into our Arena Tournaments and experience the World of Warcraft in a whole new way!

If you’ve never played in a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game tournament, this is your chance to have fun and win loot cards!

Arena Tournaments will be held now through January at select hobby stores, where players will be paired against competitors of the same level. So whether you’ve played a few times with your friends, or just took a demonstration for the first time, this is your chance to participate in an official tournament. The 2nd to 4th place players receive a common loot card, and the winner gets an uncommon loot card.

Before every tournament there will be a demonstration available for a small fee. In return, each participant will receive a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game deck which they can use during the demonstration and in the tournament afterwards.

Huntik Seeker Leagues – Ongoing!

The Seeker League is available now to all Tournament Organisers that are running Huntik!

If you’re looking for a place to play Huntik, meet new friends that are also Huntik fans, and hang out and have a good time, then the Huntik Seeker League is for you.

You’ll also be able to compete in official sanctioned tournaments and win some cool prizes. The Seeker League is the only place where you can win exclusive Seeker League promo cards. Every month, official Seeker League tournaments will have participation and prize cards for Huntik players. As well as a cool Huntik Seekers League playmate there will always be holofoil promos too, and since they’re exclusive you can’t find them in the starter deck or the booster packs. The only way to get these cards will be to play in your local Seeker League.

Huntik TCG Foundation Games – Under Way!

The Huntik Foundation Games are taking place right now at a store near you

If you’re looking for a place to meet other Huntik fans and to try out your deck against other Titans, come out to the Foundation Games for some fun and a chance to win cool prizes!

The Foundation Games kicked off in October with a series of Qualifiers and run through the end of the year. The winner of each event will receive a Huntik hat featuring a different Titan each month, so come out and collect them all! Every Seeker present will receive an exclusive “Drybite” card, and to complete this powerful duo, the winners will receive “Wind”.

The tournaments will be run in the Swiss constructed format with top 4 knock-out finals, and the winner of each event will qualify for the Foundation Games Final which will be held in January 2010. Seekers can only compete in the Final of the store they qualified in, and if you qualified at an earlier event, your invitation drops down to the highest-finishing unqualified player.

Even if you don’t win at a Foundation Games Qualifier, you can still go to the Foundation Games Final, just by participating! In order to compete in a final you have to earn 5 points, and points will be awarded for the following missions completed:
- Win or place second at a Qualifier: 5 points
- Attend a qualifier: 2 points

Whether you win once or attend 3 events, you can still compete at the Finals! Keep coming back to this site to find out more about the Finals as the event approaches.

Finally, each month we will select a different feature mission from Omens and Legacies for you to complete. The feature Missions for the Foundation Games Qualifiers will be posted here a few weeks before each event.

Tired of your regular TCG and looking to try something new? Visit a participating Hobby store from now through January and swap your old deck for a new one.

All you need to do is bring a deck of at least 40 cards, fill out a short flyer, drop your cards in the specially provided Recycling box, and you’ll walk away with a brand new deck of the World of Warcraft TCG. Any trading card game can be traded, except for the World of Warcraft TCG, Huntik TCG or Dino King TCG.

World of Warcraft TCG Arena Tournaments – Under Way Now!

Step into our Arena Tournaments and experience the World of Warcraft in a whole new way!

If you’ve never played in a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game tournament, this is your chance to have fun and win loot cards!

Arena Tournaments will be held during the months of November through January at select hobby stores, where players will be paired against competitors of the same level. So whether you’ve played a few times with your friends, or just took a demonstration for the first time, this is your chance to participate in an official tournament. The 2nd to 4th place players receive a common loot card, and the winner gets an uncommon loot card.

Before every tournament there will be a demonstration available for a small fee. In return, each participant will receive a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game deck which they can use during the demonstration and in the tournament afterwards.

World of Warcraft Realm Qualifiers Season 5

Realm Qualifier tournaments will qualify players for their Realm Championship. Each event will offer players the chance to earn a spot in the Realm Championship for the Realm in which they qualified. In addition to the main event, each Realm Qualifier will host Booster Draft Challenges as often as there are enough people to run a Draft!

As with Season 4, players will qualify based on Realm points rather than placing in top 4 of a Realm Qualifier. All players earn points based on their performance in the Realm Qualifier. A player will need to earn 10 points total throughout the season in a specific Realm in order to qualify for that Realm’s Championship. The point breakdown is as follows:

• 1st – 10 points
• 2nd – 10 points
• 3rd-4th – 6 points
• 5th-8th - 4 points
• 9th+ - 2 points

You can take part in the very first Season 5 Realm Qualifier at the Season 4 Championship on the 15 November 2009 at:

Format:

From November 28 to January 24, the events will be Scourgewar Sealed format. From January 30 to March 14, the events will be Constructed format. For more information about legality of cards for these formats, please see the World of Warcraft TCG Policy.*

The tournament will have Swiss rounds and playoffs based on the number of players in the tournament, according to UDE Tournament Policy. All matches are best two-of-three. Players may only play in the Realm Championship event in the Realm that they earned the correct number of Realm points in.

Prizes are subject to change. In addition to Booster Packs that will be awarded according to finish, top finished will also receive the following:

Season 5 Booster Draft Challenge

At every Realm Qualifier event, Booster Draft Challenges will also be going on for the duration of the event. When eight players sign up for a Draft, the event will begin. New tournaments will be happening throughout the day, as often as there are enough players to run one.
Players will Draft using three packs of Scourgewar** after which they will play three rounds of single elimination, using best two-of-three matches.

Anyone can play in the Realm Championship, and everyone who participates will receive an exclusive figure!

Format

The Championship event will use the Constructed format. Players will play four rounds of Swiss before cutting to the Top 8. The Top 8 players will compete in single elimination rounds to determine a winner.

The format will be the King of the Hill scenario on the Tanaris map.Players will earn 4 VPs for a kill and 1 VP at the end of each game tick for a character that is on top of the central high ground.

Event Exclusive!

All competitors who enter the Realm Championship will receive a Deathwatcher miniature and character card! This is your last chance to get one of these promos, so don't miss your chance to grab one!

In addition to the exclusive Deathwatcher, the top player will receive a World of Warcraft Miniatures Game First Shot Mini. These are the first figures that are "off the line". They are unpainted and one of a kind (for each figure).

World of Warcraft Realm Championship Season 4

The fourth season of Realm Qualifiers is over, and everyone is undoubtedly dying to find out what they can get in the Realm Championship. Will you be able to stake a claim to glory in your realm along with the epic prizes that come with it? Each Realm will hold a Championship Weekend that hosts not only the Realm Championship, but also a Realm Open event that is open to all players in that Realm.

Scourgewar Sneak Preview events are taking place around the world on November 21-22! This is your chance to see the next World of Warcraft Trading Card Game expansion before it’s officially released on November 24! Not only will you get a chance to try the new set in Limited events, but you’ll also be able to win some exciting prizes like deck boxes, playmats, Extended Art promos, and Scourgewar booster packs.

Format: Players will receive six packs of Scourgewar with which they will build a 30-card-minimum deck to use in the event. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers along with some lucky door prize winners!

The World of Warcraft TCG Battlegrounds program is the best way to find a game at the local level. Every month players will compete to become their store’s Battleground Master, seeking Extended Art and Token riches and the ultimate goal of the Battleground Master’s exclusive playmat!

Battlegrounds are the first step in participating in World of Warcraft TCG Organized Play. It's a great way to find a game and participate in your local gaming community. Every week, top finishers will receive exclusive Extended Art Cards that they can't find anywhere else, with the winner also walking away with a new Series 2 Paladin deck box! Even if you aren't lucky enough to walk away with first or second place, everyone walks away with at least one exclusive Extended Art Card.

If you thought that was all that is up for grabs, you’re in for a great treat! Starting right now, every player will be able to compete for the title of Battleground Master, completing achievements in the hunt to be the player to accomplish a Feat of Strength like no other! Is your Troll only deck your pride and joy? Well winning with it now will help you earn achievement points en-route to the incredible Battleground Master playmat exclusive to the player that has earned the most achievement points each month. Defeat your opponent only with abilities or with a deck containing cards from only a single set amongst other achievements, or bring along your friends for more achievement points than you can shake a stick at to win this fabulous new playmat.

Players earn achievements by completing the tasks that are listed on the Player Achievement card. Each achievement can be completely only once per kit cycle, unless noted otherwise. The Player Achievement cards are kept at the store. Each time players come into the store, they retrieve the card from the store and then can get to earning achievement points. The points are tallied and kept on the Point Tracking poster. Players are able to see where they stack up against other players at their local store. A Battlegrounds Kit cycle lasts for four weeks. At the end of the four weeks, a Battleground Master is crowned and the following week a new kit cycle starts. Each kit has new achievements. Achievements can be earned at any time two players would like to play, they are not limited to only being earned during Battlegrounds tournaments.

With the new Battleground format comes a new way to earn Badges of Justice! For every 200 achievement points you earn in-store, you’ll receive a Badge of Justice and one of the new Tokens now available from your own store. Starting this month you can get your hands on a Pandaren Token.

In addition to the other great prizes that players can earn, Badges of Justice will be given out for every 200 achievement points earned, in addition to the new token card! Save up the badges and redeem them for one of the four exclusive cards below, and stay tuned for 4 new cards will be released with each new set!
• A Badge of Justice may be used in place of a Primal Nether for purposes of the Crafting Redemption Program.
• Three Badges of Justice can be redeemed for one of the promo cards below.

Huntik TCG Foundation Games – Under Way Now!

The Huntik Foundation Games are taking place right now at a store near you

If you’re looking for a place to meet other Huntik fans and to try out your deck against other Titans, come out to the Foundation Games for some fun and a chance to win cool prizes!

The Foundation Games kicked off in October with a series of Qualifiers and run through the end of the year. The winner of each event will receive a Huntik hat featuring a different Titan each month, so come out and collect them all! Every Seeker present will receive an exclusive “Drybite” card, and to complete this powerful duo, the winners will receive “Wind”.

The tournaments will be run in the Swiss constructed format with top 4 knock-out finals, and the winner of each event will qualify for the Foundation Games Final which will be held in January 2010. Seekers can only compete in the Final of the store they qualified in, and if you qualified at an earlier event, your invitation drops down to the highest-finishing unqualified player.

Even if you don’t win at a Foundation Games Qualifier, you can still go to the Foundation Games Final, just by participating! In order to compete in a final you have to earn 5 points, and points will be awarded for the following missions completed:
- Win or place second at a Qualifier: 5 points
- Attend a qualifier: 2 points

Whether you win once or attend 3 events, you can still compete at the Finals! Keep coming back to this site to find out more about the Finals as the event approaches.

Finally, each month we will select a different feature mission from Omens and Legacies for you to complete. The feature Missions for the Foundation Games Qualifiers will be posted here a few weeks before each event.

World of Warcraft Realm Qualifiers Season 4

Realm Qualifier tournaments will qualify players for their Realm Championship on November 15, 2009. Each event will offer players the chance to earn a spot in the Realm Championship for the Realm in which they qualified. In addition to the main event, each Realm Qualifier will host Booster Draft Challenges as often as there are enough people to run a Draft!

Starting with Season 4, players will qualify based on Realm points rather than placing in top 4 of a Realm Qualifier. All players earn points based on their performance in the Realm Qualifier. A player will need to earn 10 points total throughout the season in a specific Realm in order to qualify for that Realm’s Championship. The point breakdown is as follows:

• 1st – 10 points
• 2nd – 10 points
• 3rd-4th – 6 points
• 5th-8th - 4 points
• 9th+ - 2 points

Events held from August 15 to September 20 will be Drums of War Block Constructed Format. From September 26 to November 8, the events will switch to a Constructed format. For more information about legality of cards for these formats, please see the World of Warcraft TCG Policy.

In addition to Booster Packs that will be awarded according to finish, top finished will also receive the following:

• Top 4: Extended Art Sudden Death

Booster Draft Challenge

At every Realm Qualifier event, Booster Draft Challenges will also be going on for the duration of the event. When eight players sign up for a Draft, the event will begin. New tournaments will be happening throughout the day, as often as there are enough players to run one.
